It’s the practice’s first team building away-day. We had an enjoyable balanced time-out. The art-based activity demonstrated we all have potential untapped skills and can work as a team and the “Have your say” session allowed us to say, listen, discuss and share ideas, putting the “i” in the “we” plan.
The circus skills session was fun and it affirmed for us we can overcome challenges by working together with support and encouragement.

Just wanted to say thanks again for organising the event yesterday. The session itself was fantastic – fun, engaging and brought the whole group together. David and Lynn were also fantastic hosts and really added value with their circus lessons and general entertainment. If there is any formal feedback we can submit to support them for future job winning we’d keen to do so.
I have a distant memory of using David and his company way back and when looking for some interesting ideas for a meeting, his name popped into my head. As I remembered, he was very accommodating and was booked for a small group of HR professionals. If you are looking for something different, entertaining but with a serious purpose of facing up to new challenges and positive actions, he’s your man! All done with fun and style! David is up with the times for sure.
Gladstone Surgery has not previously participated in team building events, but after receiving literature from David explaining the possible benefits we were keen to give it a try. We were not disappointed. All the team enjoyed the day immensely and the surgery has already implemented some very real developments as a direct result.
We invited Sunrise Solutions to lead a motivational team building session at the start of a Company Awayday launching our new brand and positioning. We were impressed with them from the initial contact – they were both responsive and proactive – listening carefully to the brief ensuring they fully understood what we were looking for, and going out of their way to ensure their session supported our overall aims and objectives.
The two hour circus skills session was a perfect start to the day – it struck just the right balance between fun and engaging, while putting forward a strong message about how to overcome work challenges through mutual support and teamwork.
I wanted something that would take the whole staff by surprise but with a very strong underlying message. The practice needed to reinforce the need for trust and understanding across the practice teams. We all needed to have fun.

I’ve had numerous messages from various attendees commenting on what a brilliant concept the ‘Facing New Challenges’ was – combining a light-hearted social experience with clear underlying messages. I think everyone enjoyed watching the boss attempting to juggle! Thanks for all you help with the organisation of the activities – you’ve been an extremely professional and easy company to work with.
